Transalpine Typology Meeting 2015

Description

The Transalpine Typology Meeting was first held in Bern in 2009 and then in Pavia in 2010, and in Zurich in 2013. The main aim of the previous meetings was to intensify the contacts and collaboration between students and researchers of linguistic typology on both sides of the Alps. Contributions covered many aspects of linguistic typology, and the friendly and informal atmosphere made these meetings very fruitful in terms of scientific exchange. The 4th TTM in Lyon will seek to continue that tradition.

Practical information

• The conference will be held in the Institut des Sciences de l’Homme (Building C) in Lyon. To find out about the directions to the conference venue, please check Venue in the menu.


• Lunch will be provided in the cafeteria located in the Institut des Sciences de l’Homme (C Building), which is situated on the ground floor just next to the lift.


• Please keep in mind that from 12h30 to 13h30 the main door of the Institut des Sciences de l’Homme is locked. This means that during this time you can easily go out but not enter.


• On Thursday evening, we propose to meet at the restaurant Brasserie Georges located not far from the conference venue, near Lyon-Perrache railway station. The price of the menu varies between 22 € and 28 €. web http://www.brasseriegeorges.com/plan.aspx


• Conference room is equiped with a computer and video projector.

Internet access

• You should be able to access the Internet with your own laptop in the cafeteria using a wifi connection.
  
• The password to the internet will be provided at the meeting.
